Veteran Indian designer JJ Valaya launched the long anticipated debut lawn collection here in Karachi, in collaboration with Pakistan’s top textile Industry; Five Star textiles.
The name JJ Valaya represents supreme class and has always offered the best to the fashion lovers with his ground-breaking take on conventional design. The collection is aesthetic with an eye on the needs of a modern lifestyle. JJ Valaya is a founding member of Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) and the first global brand ambassador of Crystal giant Swarovski.
The three day extravaganza at The Palm, Emerald Marquee kicked off with a launch event which featured emerging models such as Sehrish, Monica, Sidra, Maham, Manal, Sarah, Mubashira, Zara, Abeer & Areeba. The key element of the show was the exciting grand finale in which Pakistan’s ace model / singer / actress Meesha Shafi walked the ramp with Ali Asif, Director Five Star Textile.
There were forty five mannequins adorned in beautiful wardrobe by JJ Valaya. The unique collection has elaborate detailing that embraces the spring season with five ravishing themes including Zari, Nizam, Naqashi, Jamawar and Sanghaner. Each theme has 5 exquisite designs in 2 color ways. JJ Valaya lawn offers twenty five spectacular design prints variegated colors.
The launch event was organized by Catwalk Productions and PR handled by Catalyst PR & Marketing. The guests in attendance included Safinaz Muneer, Huma Adnan, Abdul Samad, Zeba Bakhtiar, Mahin Hussain, Rukeiya Adamjee, Koni, Neshmia Ahmed and a huge crowd to welcome Five Star signature lawn by J.J Valaya.
