Movie actress Meera was given bail on Thursday in the double nikkah case. The actress had not been permitted to leave court until entry surety bond of Rs50, 000.
Previously, Meera arrived for the hearing of the double nikkah case filed against her by alleged husband Atiq ur Rehman in the court in Lahore.
Rehman asserts that another marriage contract was entered right into by Meera while still being married to him. The civil judge Lahore Cantt had issued Meera several orders to appear before the court but the performer did not make an appearance.
Meera stated that no notice was received by her in the court for appearance. Meera was allowed to leave when the bail bond was submitted by her attorneys.
Lollywood actress Meera was granted bail on Thursday in the dual nikkah case.
