“My Eid collection is truly a representation of my fashion sensibility of combining contemporary aesthetics with traditional motifs and patterns,” said Sehyr Anis. “I have tried hard to produce a collection which is elegant, sophisticated and very well suited to the occasion.”
This year for Eid, Sehyr Anis’s has made use of bright shades of saffron, crimson and aqua, creating a collection which is all about having fun when dressing up. The fabrics used for this year’s Eid collection are pure chiffons, crinkled chiffons and net, while the silhouette for the season is long and flowy.
“I have used shades of saffron, crimson and blues, and have aimed for a fresh and chic look,” said the young Lahore-based designer when asked about the feel of her collection. “The collection is comfortable, stylish and in sync with the spirit of Eid,” said Sehyr Anis.
The embellishments for the collection are pearls, ornate bead work and lace trimmings.
“I have made two dresses for myself this year, and both of them are obviously from my latest collection: one of my outfits is based on an Ivory palette while the other one is saffron,” said Sehyr anis when asked what she will be wearing on Eid.
