Pratham UK annual gala was a spectacular black tie ball attended by 700 Pratham patrons and their guests. Film stars and business and social entrepreneurs were in attendance. The evening celebrated, recognised and honoured the work Pratham is doing in India; through educating children and securing their futures.
Pratham celebrated their 10th Anniversary while Manish Malhotra showcased his ‘100 years of Indian cinema’ Collection at The Articulate Pratham UK Gala at Grosvenor house Hotel In London on 28th Sept 2013. Pratham UK celebrated their 10th anniversary.The event started with a cocktail reception, followed by exquisite dinner. Before dinner Akademi dancers performed paying homage to Indian Cinema. The fashion show was the main highlight of the evening. Actresses Bipasha and Esha Gupta were the show stoppers. During dinner a unique art and music performance took place.
Manish Said of this timeless collection “I have grown up watching Indian cinema. My journey as a costume designer to movies for 23 years has been an emotional experience. I have loved cinema and cinema has loved me back. It has made me what I am today. When I got this opportunity to celebrate 100 years of cinema, I had to embrace this milestone and create a memorable collection reflecting my equal love for cinema and fashion“.
